ORock Technologies Names New Chief Commercial Officer

Former Arrow Electronics Cloud Executive Steve Robinson to Drive Commercial Market Growth

RESTON, Va., Sept. 12, 2018 /PRNewswire/ — ORock® Technologies, Inc., announced today that Steve Robinson has joined its executive leadership team as Chief Commercial Officer and will lead all commercial market activities for ORock. In this leadership role, Robinson will oversee the company’s go-to-market strategy and expansion into highly regulated commercial sectors including financial services, healthcare, and critical infrastructure in addition to the media and entertainment industries.

A seasoned executive with extensive knowledge of the cloud industry and competitive landscape, Robinson’s career spans 20 years of experience in business-to-business strategy, sales, product marketing, platform development, and business development. Previous experience focused on public, private and hybrid cloud solutions within SMB and enterprise market segments.

Robinson joins ORock from Arrow Electronics, where he served as global vice president and general manager of Arrow Enterprise Computing Solutions’ worldwide cloud business. In this role, he led unified cloud strategy and go-to-market execution in North America and EMEA, enabling Arrow’s channel customers to capture sales growth and market share on hybrid cloud solutions.

Previously, Robinson oversaw cloud strategy, platform development, and channel enablement at CenturyLink-Savvis, where he drove cloud brokerage and SaaS marketplace programs. He was responsible for UCaaS-VoIP product strategy and management for Qwest Communications. Robinson’s career began in global ERP and enterprise applications and also includes positions at Caterpillar and ASG Software. He holds an MBA from Purdue University Krannert School of Management.
