Gregory Hrncir - Co-Founder, Chairman, & Chief Executive Officer
Gregory Hrncir is Co-Founder, Chairman and CEO of ORock Technologies. For the past 23 years, he has served in executive, board and counsel capacities for a broad range of emerging growth technology companies in the cybersecurity, software and clean tech sectors. Hrncir commenced his career in private law practice in Los Angeles focused on complex securities and corporate transactional matters including IPOs, M&A transactions, and private placements. Hrncir currently serves as a member of the board of directors of several privately held entities. He received a Bachelor of Science from Arizona State University and a Juris Doctor from Whittier Law School. Hrncir is a member of the Arizona and California State Bars and numerous philanthropic and industry associations.
John Leon - Co-Founder, President, Chief Technology Officer
John Leon is the chief architect, designer, and Chief Technology Officer for ORock Technologies, building the company from the ground up with security as its main focus. ORock Technologies data centers reside on the government’s core Internet Backbone that Leon was involved in implementing in the early 1990’s from OC-3 “Ring of pearl network” to the current WDM backbone network. Previously, Leon handled high-speed cyber developments and security, and was Vice President overseeing the development of 3D stacked devices and embedded systems. He has developed various anti-tamper and reverse engineering capabilities and techniques and has been awarded over 25 Small Business and Innovative Research (SBIR) awards. Leon has devoted his career to solving problems for various U.S. government agencies and military focused in the areas of INFOSEC and COMSEC. He has had multiple successes in utilizing government-funded research and development concepts and building prototypes that eventually lead to commercial products. Leon holds a Master’s of Science degree and Bachelors of Science in Computer Science from Cal State Fullerton.
John Conniff - Chief Operating Officer
John Conniff serves as the Chief Operating Officer of ORock Technologies. In this role, he oversees Technical Operations and Customer Success. Prior to joining ORock Technologies, Conniff completed a distinguished 25-year career as a Colonel in the United States Army. In Conniff’s last assignment, he served in the Department of Defense’s (DoD) Chief Information Officer office where he was responsible for merging the multiple IT service providers within the Pentagon into one organization to achieve efficiencies while providing improved secure service to the DoD’s senior leadership. Prior to that assignment, Conniff was the Deputy Director to the Joint Staff J6 and was responsible for IT Transformation to the Joint Staff by means of optimizing IT service delivery through new capabilities and efficient solutions. Before his role as the Deputy Director, Conniff was the G6 (senior communications officer) for the 82nd Airborne Division where he was responsible all IT-related services to personal under its command, including a rotation in Afghanistan. Prior to that, Conniff served as the Chief of Current Operations for the Joint Task Force for Global Network Operations where he was responsible for directing the 24X7 operations and defense for the DoD’s global IT enterprise. Conniff’s diverse career includes leadership positions involving combat, peace-keeping, and humanitarian assistance operations. Conniff is a graduate of the University of Central Florida where he received a degree in Business Administration.
David Goldman - Managing Director, Media Division
David Goldman is Managing Director of ORock’s media division with a focus on the media, entertainment, and advertising sectors. He has worked in entertainment and digital media for over 25 years. He has been a senior talent agent at both the William Morris Agency (now WME) and ICM (now ICM Partners). He was the founder and CEO of talent management and production company Power Entertainment which he sold to The Collective in 2005. He founded and acted as CEO of Comedy Time, the first mobile comedy channel which was created at the request of Sprint and subsequently distributed to every major digital entertainment platform. He was the founder and CEO of Virtual Reality consulting firm, Virtuosity, and the founder and CEO of conversational AI company, HIA. He has acted as an advisor to numerous media-related technology companies. He started his career as an attorney specializing in entertainment transactions and is a member of the California Bar.
Michael Ngo - Chief Security Officer
Michael Ngo is the Chief Security Officer of ORock Technologies, where he is responsible for ensuring the security and compliance of the company’s Infrastructure as a Service and Cloud offerings. He completed his distinguished career as a Colonel with the United States Army, where he was a senior executive with 28+ years of experience directing worldwide network operations and cyber defense for large scale organizations of over 7 million systems, on 15,000 separate networks, across various security domains.
Prior to joining ORock, Ngo was the Chief Operating Officer, Joint Force Headquarters Department of Defense Information Networks (JFHQ-DODIN), at Fort Meade, Maryland. In this role he was responsible for the command and control of defensive cyberspace activities focusing on unity of command and unity of effort within the Department of Defense to secure, operate, and defend Department of Defense Networks.
Ngo was commissioned as a Signal Officer and served in various levels of command and staff positions in the United States, Kuwait, Korea, and Germany. His previous assignments include: Director of US Army Cybersecurity Programs and Training, HQDA CIO/G-6; Deputy Director, Defensive Operations Planning, JFHQ-DODIN; Senior IT Program Manager, Mobility, DISA; Deputy Division Head, Cyber Special Access Programs and Special Technical Operations, USCYBERCOM; and Deputy Department Head, JTF-GNO.
Ngo holds a Master of Science in Information Technology Management from the Naval Postgraduate School and graduated as a ROTC Distinguished Military Graduate with a degree in Computer Science from Millersville University.
Bill O'Neill - Chief Revenue Officer
Bill O’Neill serves as Chief Revenue Officer for ORock Technologies and leads all sales, business development, and channel development functions. He is responsible for developing growth strategies, recruiting and enabling channel partners, and ensuring customer satisfaction through operational excellence and collaborative account management.
O’Neill’s 30+ year career includes executive leadership roles in public sector technology sales, operations, and solution development with leading enterprise IT, telecommunications, and services vendors. Most recently, he led Department of Defense (DoD) sales at Forcepoint, where he drove sales of software, cloud, mobility, Internet of Things (IoT), and other technologies through a unified, cloud-centric platform that safeguards users, networks and data while eliminating the inefficiencies involved in managing a collection of point security products.
Prior to Forcepoint, O’Neill served as VP of Solution Sales, Government Digital Transformation for Oracle, where he was responsible for go-to-market strategy, product solution line management, operational functions, and channel partnerships. Previously, he held leadership positions with Iron Mountain, Hewlett-Packard Enterprise Group, CenturyLink (formerly Qwest Government Services), and Nortel Networks. He spent 17 years at Raytheon in various business development, sales, and management positions.
O’Neill remains active in the government IT community as chair of the Executive Advisory Board (EAB) for the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association, Washington DC chapter (AFCEA-DC). He served as president of AFCEA-DC and as a member of the board of directors for TechAmerica Public Sector. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. in Engineering from Roger Williams University.
Steve Robinson - Chief Commercial Officer
As Chief Commercial Officer, Steve Robinson has responsibility for all commercial market activities and oversees ORock’s go-to-market strategy for multiple commercial sectors, including the financial services, healthcare, critical infrastructure, media and entertainment verticals.
Prior to joining ORock, Steve was the Global VP & GM of the worldwide cloud organization at Arrow Electronics. In this role, Steve was responsible for driving unified cloud strategy and GTM execution for Arrow Enterprise Computing Solutions North America and EMEA, enabling Arrow’s channel customers to capture sales growth and market share on Hybrid Cloud solutions.
Prior to Arrow, Steve led cloud strategy, platform development, and channel enablement at CenturyLink-Savvis, driving market-leading cloud brokerage and SaaS marketplace GTM programs. Prior to CenturyLink-Savvis, Steve led UCaaS-VoIP product strategy and management for Qwest Communications. Steve’s career began in global ERP and enterprise applications.
A seasoned executive and thought leader with extensive knowledge of SaaS, PaaS and IaaS offerings, Steve’s career spans 20 years at organizations including Caterpillar, Qwest, CenturyLink, and ASG Software. His leadership spans business-to-business strategy, sales, product marketing, platform development, and business development focused on public, private and hybrid cloud solutions positioned into SMB -Enterprise market segments.
Steve holds an MBA from Purdue University Krannert School of Management.
Allan Rubin - Chief Marketing Officer
Allan Rubin’s career spans 25+ years in B2B and B2G marketing, with more than a decade of senior leadership experience in the public sector and commercial IT channels. He joined ORock Technologies from Arrow Electronics, a Fortune 118 value-added IT distributor (VAD), where he held the position of VP of Marketing, Arrow Enterprise Computing Solutions North America. Prior to Arrow, he served as VP of Marketing at immixGroup, Inc., a public sector VAD that helped technology companies grow their business with federal, state, and local governments. His background in B2B marketing includes positions with media and distribution companies such as AOL, ESI International, Phillips Business Information, and Kraft General Foods. Rubin’s expertise spans multiple areas of marketing strategy and execution, including market intelligence, channel marketing, demand generation, business development marketing, marketing communications, digital marketing, and marketing operations. He earned a B.A. in Government from Franklin and Marshall College and was selected as a 2017 Channel Chief by The Channel Company/Computer Reseller News.
Dale Stucke - Chief Financial Officer
Dale Stucke serves as Chief Financial Officer and oversees all financial, accounting and audit matters. His 35+ year career includes senior leadership positions in multiple technology and consulting firms. Most recently, he served as CFO of IT services company Constellation West with responsibility for operations, financial reporting, treasury, financial planning and forecasting, HR, and security. Previously, he was VP Finance of USIS Corporation, a $600 million annual revenue services organization, with responsibility over corporate financial planning and forecasting, financial reporting, contract administration, pricing, and compliance. Stucke served as VP, Finance and Corporate Controller of GTSI Corporation, a publicly traded government contractor, with oversight over internal management reporting CAS and FAR compliance, forecasting, and financial reporting. Additional positions include internal audit, finance, and operations roles with Unisys Corporation, BearingPoint, Inc., General Dynamics, and Booz Allen Hamilton. He receive a Bachelors of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Cincinnati and an MBA from Wright State University. He is a licensed CPA in the State of Virginia.
