Gregory Hrncir - Co-Founder, Chairman, & Chief Executive Officer
Gregory Hrncir is Co-Founder, Chairman and CEO of ORock Technologies. For the past 23 years, he has served in executive, board and counsel capacities for a broad range of emerging growth technology companies in the cybersecurity, software and clean tech sectors. Hrncir commenced his career in private law practice in Los Angeles focused on complex securities and corporate transactional matters including IPOs, M&A transactions, and private placements. Hrncir currently serves as a member of the board of directors of several privately held entities. He received a Bachelor of Science from Arizona State University and a Juris Doctor from Whittier Law School. Hrncir is a member of the Arizona and California State Bars and numerous philanthropic and industry associations.
John Leon - Co-Founder, President, CTO
John Leon is the chief architect, designer, and CTO for ORock Technologies, building the company from the ground up with security as its main focus. ORock Technologies data centers reside on the government’s core Internet Backbone that Leon was involved in implementing in the early 1990’s from OC-3 “Ring of pearl network” to the current WDM backbone network. Previously, Leon handled high-speed cyber developments and security, and was Vice President overseeing the development of 3D stacked devices and embedded systems. He has developed various anti-tamper and reverse engineering capabilities and techniques and has been awarded over 25 Small Business and Innovative Research (SBIR) awards. Leon has devoted his career to solving problems for various U.S. government agencies and military focused in the areas of INFOSEC and COMSEC. He has had multiple successes in utilizing government-funded research and development concepts and building prototypes that eventually lead to commercial products. Leon holds a Master’s of Science degree and Bachelors of Science in Computer Science from Cal State Fullerton.
John Conniff - Chief Operating Officer
John Conniff serves as the Chief Operating Officer of ORock Technologies. In this role, he oversees Technical Operations and Customer Success. Prior to joining ORock Technologies, Conniff completed a distinguished 25-year career as a Colonel in the United States Army. In Conniff’s last assignment, he served in the Department of Defense’s (DoD) Chief Information Officer office where he was responsible for merging the multiple IT service providers within the Pentagon into one organization to achieve efficiencies while providing improved secure service to the DoD’s senior leadership. Prior to that assignment, Conniff was the Deputy Director to the Joint Staff J6 and was responsible for IT Transformation to the Joint Staff by means of optimizing IT service delivery through new capabilities and efficient solutions. Before his role as the Deputy Director, Conniff was the G6 (senior communications officer) for the 82nd Airborne Division where he was responsible all IT-related services to personal under its command, including a rotation in Afghanistan. Prior to that, Conniff served as the Chief of Current Operations for the Joint Task Force for Global Network Operations where he was responsible for directing the 24X7 operations and defense for the DoD’s global IT enterprise. Conniff’s diverse career includes leadership positions involving combat, peace-keeping, and humanitarian assistance operations. Conniff is a graduate of the University of Central Florida where he received a degree in Business Administration.
Allan Rubin - Chief Marketing Officer
Allan Rubin’s career spans 25+ years in B2B and B2G marketing, with more than a decade of senior leadership experience in the public sector and commercial IT channels. He joined ORock Technologies from Arrow Electronics, a Fortune 118 value-added IT distributor (VAD), where he held the position of VP of Marketing, Arrow Enterprise Computing Solutions North America. Prior to Arrow, he served as VP of Marketing at immixGroup, Inc., a public sector VAD that helped technology companies grow their business with federal, state, and local governments. His background in B2B marketing includes positions with media and distribution companies such as AOL, ESI International, Phillips Business Information, and Kraft General Foods. Rubin’s expertise spans multiple areas of marketing strategy and execution, including market intelligence, channel marketing, demand generation, business development marketing, marketing communications, digital marketing, and marketing operations. He earned a B.A. in Government from Franklin and Marshall College and was selected as a 2017 Channel Chief by The Channel Company/Computer Reseller News.
David Kamachaitis - Executive VP Channel Sales
David Kamachaitis serves as the Executive Vice President of Channel Sales where he specializes in capture, channel, and proposal management, business development, and marketing. Kamachaitis is a self-made entrepreneur and executive leader in the IT field with over 25 years of combined sales management, project management, customer service, and managerial experience which spans across many industries including telecom, transportation, law enforcement, health care, local, state, federal government and commercial market. Prior to joining ORock, Kamachaitis held a variety of successful business development roles including: Business Development Executive for Evolver, Inc where he was responsible for building an approximately a billion-dollar pipeline of new business; Vice President of Business Development for the Canton Group, building the start-up into a multi-million-dollar state and local and Federal business; Business Development Director for Unisphere Network’s Southeast commercial region, leading the start-up to success as the leading revenue producer with over $45 million in new revenue generated in his 2.5 year tenure. As a highly motivated self-starter, Kamachaitis employs strong interpersonal, solutions-focused and streamlining skills to set clear company objectives goals to empower others to maximize their performance.
